The Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department, in collaboration with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, successfully organized the Advanced First Aid & CPR Course Series 1/2025 at the Malaysian Red Crescent Training Institute, Kuala Lumpur.
This intensive three-day course (20–22 May 2025) was attended by 23 participants from the Protection Division. The course went beyond theory — participants were given hands-on experience in handling emergency situations through practical activities, demonstrations, and simulation exercises.
Topics covered included:
- Emergency care for wounds, burns, and fractures
- Head, spinal, chest & abdominal injuries
- Sudden illnesses, poisoning, stings
- Proper rescue and casualty transfer techniques
- Practical and written assessments as course conclusion
This course has produced participants who are more alert, competent, and ready to act in critical situations.
