Monthly Assembly and Aidilfitri Santunan Mesra Ceremony with the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform)

Putrajaya, April 21, 2025: The Monthly Assembly of the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) took place today, followed by the Santunan Mesra Aidilfitri Ceremony, held at the Laman Hijau, Legal Affairs Division, Putrajaya.
The event was graced by the presence of YB Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), and was enlivened by the participation of department personnel. The assembly aimed to strengthen two-way communication between top management and staff members, as well as serve as a platform for delivering current messages and recognising the contributions of staff.
The event began with the singing of the national anthem, recital of the public service pledge, and a keynote address by the Minister, who emphasised the importance of integrity, shared responsibility in implementing institutional reform, and appreciation for the dedication shown by all staff.
In her speech, YB Dato’ Sri Azalina reminded all departmental personnel to remain committed, uphold a high standard of integrity, and work together to successfully realise the planned institutional reform agenda. She also extended Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to all staff.
The event was attended by all Directors-General of departments under the Law and Institutional Reform Cluster, including the Director-General of the Protection Division. The celebration was further enlivened with various traditional Aidilfitri food stalls offering lemang, rendang, and traditional Malay kuih, along with lively performances, including festive songs and humorous skits by department staff that lifted the festive spirit and strengthened camaraderie among colleagues.
The presence of YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, further highlighted the significance and prestige of this event, which brought together personnel from across the Law and Institutional Reform Cluster.
